Warhammer Tips for Making Macros

Hello players , are you searching for a way of how to make macro in Warhammer ? Good , here are some tips for your reference ( credit to Magual ), now read them please .

There is a list of commands. I don't know if it's complete or not, but I typed "/help" and got a list of slash commands.

Interestingly, I couldn't find any commands that actually use abilities (spells, melee abilities, heals, etc.) - so it may be a case where they are trying to prevent macros from taking over the game play.

You can do things like sending messages to your group/warband/scenario, etc. You can target specific people (though there are already keys which select group members by default). But as far as I can tell you can't create a macro that chains all your abilities into one key-mashing-uber-macro.

Basically, it seems that macros work as follows:

1: Open the macro editing window

2: Select the macro slot you want to edit at the top. Either pick a blank slot or one you've already created, and edit the title.

3: Add a macro icon - either by clicking on the icon slot to open up a popup with ~20 or so generic icons, or by drag/drop from one of your existing abilities into the macro box.

4: Add the command(s) asscociated with the macro in the text box beneath (like "/target [person]").

5: Click on the save button. At that point, you can now drag the icon from the selection list/set at the top into your hotbar.

One FYI - once you set a macro icon into one of the slots at the top, I don't know if it's possible to remove it (there is no "Blank" icon you can use to overwrite it, nor is there a "delete" button, as far as I can tell). You can erase the command(s) associated with the macro, but the slot will still be "filled" - though you can write over it with a new macro, if you wish.
Thank you for your attention to our website . Enjoy yourself !
